Meet Jordan Beal of The Beal Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Beal.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.

I actively oversee and manage Beal Real Estate’s dynamic team of real estate professionals and licensed agents, handling purchase and sales, vacation rentals, leasing, and property management. I am an investor and landlord. I a grown-up in San Diego and have been a resident of coastal North County San Diego since I was 9 years old. Prior to starting Beal Real Estate, I worked as an attorney for 6 years.

I served as Associate General Counsel for the real estate firm of Douglas Wilson Companies. As Associate General Counsel I drafted and negotiated multiple purchases and sales agreements, property management agreements, brokerage listing agreements, LOI’s, leases involving both commercial and residential property, and as Risk Manager placed in excess of $1billion dollars of commercial and residential insurance policies.

I also worked as an Associate at the real estate litigation law firm of Merkin & Associates. I earned my B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, graduating from each with High Honors.

Great, So Let’s Dig a Little Deeper into the Story – Has It Been an Easy Path Overall and If Not, What Were the Challenges You’ve Had to Overcome?

Every entrepreneur will tell you it’s not a smooth road, starting a business has its ups and downs but it’s about staying on course and being true to the value and vision you have for the company.

We recently moved into a 2500 sq ft office on the Corner of Cedros and Lomas Santa Fe and undertaking the remodel of the interior and exterior of the building has been a challenge and a 9-month process of permits with the city of Solana Beach.

Growing from 3 to 23 agents has also had its challenges but has been incredibly rewarding knowing I have helped people build a career in real estate.
