Encinitas is located along six miles of Pacific Ocean coastline and boasts a thriving beach culture. It has been named among the 20 best surf towns in the world by “National Geographic” due to its perfect mix of pristine beaches and variety of seaside shops, coffeehouses and restaurants. In addition, it is home to the San Diego Botanical Garden showcasing 4,000 kinds of plants from all over the world. You’ll also find family-friendly Moonlight beach and surfer mecca Swami’s beach as well as the mediation gardens at the Self-Realization Fellowship.

 

The town captures the laid back beach vibe while also offering a little excitement with nightlife at local spots such as The Shelter, The Saloon and 1st Street Bar.
